City Kids Go Country… at Mortimer Family Farms

We recently learned about the vast array of local Pumpkin patches and Corn Maze Festivals from a post on Fill Your Plate. So, we decided to load up our family and head to Mortimer Family Farms for their pumpkin patch, corn maze, and fall festivities.

Run, Walk, or Stroll in The Great Arizona Grape Stomp in Fountain Hills

Run, walk, or stroll in The Great Arizona Grape Stomp in Fountain Hills on Saturday, November 3rd. The 5K event (registration at 9/race at 10) is followed by a full day of activities (10-4) in downtown Fountain Hills that includes a Farmers Market with over 40 vendors, AZ wine tasting, fine art, chef/winemaker demonstrations, music, face painting for kids (or kids at heart), and test your skills in the at grape stomping competition.
