Get Lost! The Mortimer’s Corn Maze Opens October 5th!

Rise to the challenge and take on this year’s corn maze design of President Obama and Mitt Romney duking it out!

SEND OUT THE SEARCH PARTIES… THOUSANDS OF ARIZONA RESIDENTS WILL SOON BE LOST NEAR DEWEY!

Worldwide Maize Craze Pops Up In Dewey, Offering Mysterious New Outdoor Entertainment

With no UFO sightings reported in Dewey this year, the mystery remains as to how an extraterrestrial-like design has taken shape in a Dewey cornfield. Bringing the maze craze to the Northern Arizona, the Mortimer family will unravel the mystery when they open the area’s first MAiZE, an intricate network of twists and turns carved into 10 acres of corn, on October 5th, 2012.

The Mortimer’s and maze designer Brett Herbst – the world’s leading designer of 1,500+ corn mazes worldwide — hope to challenge the wits of those seeking to find the one exit from their mind-boggling puzzle — a unique source of good farmin’ fun for adults and children alike. Though the correct pathway can be walked in only 15 minutes, most wandering maze-goers will require about one hour to travel through more than three miles of twists, turns and decision points. As a tribute to its location, the maze is designed in the shape of President Obama and Mitt Romney as they “duke it out” for votes, reminding voters to get the poles this November.

Mortimer Family Farms will give Arizona residents the chance to “get lost” October 5th, 2012 through October 31st, 2012. Hours of operation are Friday (with Maze Laser Tag) 5-10 pm, Saturday 10-10 pm, Sunday 10-5 pm. Field trip hours, during weekdays, are available by reservation. The location is easy to find just 1 hour north of Phoenix on Highway 69 in Dewey. Cost is $7.00 for ages 12 and up, $3 for ages 4-11, and free for kids 3 and under. Discounts are offered for large groups and field trips. For more information or to make reservations, call 928-830-1116 or visit the website.
