People with Depression Must Often Boost Nutrition, Nutritionists Give Counsel

Maintaining a healthful diet can be difficult for people with depression, said registered dietitian Leigh Merotto in Everyday Health. But getting help is often rare.

Registered dietitians Amy Gorin and Merotto offer six ways to help, including treating yourself to grocery delivery or healthful takeout meals, keeping the pantry stocked with healthful foods, and having meals with loved ones — either in person or virtually — and eating at the same time every day.
