It’s finally December, and you know what that means: Arizona citrus is in season! Oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, and tangerines will all be ready for picking very soon. My favorite way to use citrus in December is by making fresh orange juice on Christmas morning. We go out in our backyard to pick the oranges, making the newly-squeezed orange juice super fresh. Another tradition we do is put a Christmas orange in each stocking. You can also use fresh orange slices in your potpourri with cranberries, cloves, and cinnamon sticks.

We like to squeeze fresh lemon slices on our German Pancakes on Christmas morning, or make fresh lemon curd and put them on crepes (find the recipe here). The uses are endless.
