Arizona Vet Takes Issue with CBS' Report on Antibiotic Use in Animal Agriculture

A 36-year veteran of veterinary medicine responds to a CBS report on animal agriculture and antibiotics. Dr. McCLure suggests that “my lifetime of experience in animal agriculture makes their report seem to me biased and misleading.”

What’s valuable to learn in his editorial is how research and science-based the practice of antibiotic use is and how regulated the animal agriculture industry is in the use of antibiotics. It’s an important editorial to read.
