There is something about the classic flavors of Thanksgiving that can instantly transport you back to the comforts of home and the feeling of family.  The smell of your grandmother’s stuffing or that first bite of pumpkin pie can bring back memories of childhood and infuse you with the spirit of the holidays.  Whether you make a meal that would make Martha Stewart proud or you are anxious about cooking your first Thanksgiving dinner, the right recipe can make all the difference.

This year, we here at Fill Your Plate want to help you plan, prepare, and put on the best Thanksgiving possible.  We know that some of the most magical recipes around are hiding in your cookbooks and recipe boxes just begging to be shared.  It doesn’t matter if it is the family version of sausage stuffing that came from your German great-grandmother or the amazing cranberry-orange sauce your sister found in a magazine last year, we want to know your favorite Thanksgiving recipes.

Submit your recipe today for Fill Your Plate’s Favorite Home Recipe Contest.  Entries will be accepted between now and November 1st and winning recipes will be featured on the FYP blog and website throughout the month of November.
