Welcome to Arizona Wine Country! Until recently all the talk about wineries in Arizona has been about the Southern part of the state, but the new buzz is in Northern Arizona!
Alcantara Vineyards, the first winery on the Verde River is the largest vineyard in Arizona. Make it a day trip from the Phoenix or Scottsdale area. Check our Arizona winery tours and tasting with an outstanding selection of wines, made right here in Arizona.
Visit us and see what its all about.Our vineyards have over 13,000 vines and offers 12 varietals. Our different types of red wine include White Merlot, Mourvedre, Syrah and Cabernet Pheffer, which are very popular (plus don't overlook health and red wine benefits).

The Vineyard is two miles off Highway 260 at Mile Marker 211 (Thousand Trails Road).
GPS Coordinates: N 34 degrees 40.214 and W 111 degrees 56.945; elevation is 3356 ft.
From Sedona: Travel south on 89-A towards Cottonwood. Turn East on Hwy 260 and travel southeast about 8 miles. Turn North on Thousand Trails and take it to the gate of Thousand Trails Resort, turn left onto Alcantara Way and follow the dirt road to the gate.
From Flagstaff: Travel south on I-17 to Camp Verde, Exit 287. Turn off on Hwy 260 and travel northwest about 8 miles. Turn North on Thousand Trails and take it to the gate of Thousand Trails Resort, turn left onto Alcantara Way and follow the dirt road to the gate.
From Phoenix: Follow I-17 north to Hwy 260 and travel northwest about 8 miles. Turn North on Thousand Trails and take it to the gate of Thousand Trails Resort, turn left onto Alcantara Way and follow the dirt road to the gate.
From Prescott: Travel south on Hwy 69 to Dewey, then northeast on Hwy 169 to the I-17 j
