Cheri's Desert Harvest was founded in 1985 by Cheri Romanoski. Preserving fresh fruits and vegetables began as a home-spun hobby which has blossomed into a national and international venture
Cheri began her business by preserving various fruits grown on her property and giving them to family and neighbors. Soon the neighbors began sending over unusual fruit grown on their own property for Cheri to preserve for them. Payment for this favor came in the way of special homemade goodies made from their own kitchens. As a result, Cheri soon learned how to make many different varieties of preserves, some of which she still continues to make for her own business today. Her line now has expanded to include specialty honeys, syrups, candy and bread mixes as well as jellies and marmalades.
Cheri continues to take extra care with each product by hand-harvesting, processing and preparing all of her products in small quantities to ensure product quality and integrity. She uses no artificial flavoring, additives or pr
