Save the Family

 

For the fourth year, Valley nonprofit, Save the Family Foundation of Arizona, will be hosting the Taste of San Tan at San Tan Village in Gilbert.  This fun event is sponsored by the San Tan Village shopping mall in Gilbert and features restaurant tastings from San Tan Village and the surrounding East Valley community along with great entertainment.  A fun date night for a great cause!

 

Date:  Friday, October 7, 2011

 

Time:  6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

 

Location: San Tan Village Courtyard Pavilion

 

Entry Fee: $50 (all proceeds go directly to Save the Family)

 

  • Included in fee:
    • Unlimited food tastings from participating SanTan Village and local restaurants
    • Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
    • Live entertainment generously presented by Salt River Project (SRP) featuring the award winning band SECOND SHIFT

 

Fabulous Raffle with prizes including a 7-Night Cruise for two to any Norwegian Cruise Line destination, “Year of Date Nights” package, Apple iPad, $500 SanTan Village Shopping Spree and more! Raffle tickets are $10 each.

100% of the proceeds benefit Save the Family.

Save the Family is a nationally accredited 501(C)(3) non-profit agency that has been serving the Greater Phoenix Metro area for more than 23 years. Founded in 1988, the agency is one of the largest providers of services to homeless families in the Valley. Save the Family, and its partner agency the Affordable Rental Movement of Save the Family (ARM), operate more than 180 transitional and low-income housing units for families in need in Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe and Scottsdale.  Housing is provided to homeless families as well as working poor families with the aim of helping these families become self-sufficient.  Save the Family provides case management and a full array of supportive services including financial literacy education, career development support, budgeting workshops, parenting classes, and youth enrichment programs to help clients and their children achieve stability and life-long independence.
