Old Fashioned Cocktail with Medjool Date Syrup

Ingredients:
- 2.5 ounces of bourbon
- 1 ounce of date syrup
- 3 dashes of bitters
- 1 twist of orange citrus
- 1 medjool date, for garnish
- 1 Luxardo cherry, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Combine the bourbon, date syrup, and bitters over ice in a cocktail shaker.
Strain into a glass filled with ice (or use an oversized cocktail ice cube or sphere ice ball)
Garnish with a Medjool date and orange citrus.
