Although it’s now October and fall is almost upon us, it still feels like summer with the 100/90 degree Arizona weather. My mom started making these Strawberry Julius’s last week and we can’t get enough of them! It’s a copycat recipe from the Dairy Queen menu. You can make it thin like strawberry milk or thick like a strawberry smoothie. Either way is delicious! Cool down with this creamy, frothy and fruity drink!

Homemade Strawberry Julius

1 cup milk

1 cup ice

½ cup sliced strawberries (replace with ½ cup of orange juice for an Orange Julius!)

¼ cup sugar

¼ tsp vanilla

Get your strawberries from Mortimer Farms!

Remember that 97% of your milk you find in the dairy case at the grocery store is from our local Arizona dairies. Drink milk, it’s local!

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Add more ice and strawberries for a thicker smoothie. It’s that simple and easy!
