How to Up Your Halloween Game With Dry Ice And Mocktails

By Sarah Hunt, AZFB Communications Intern

Growing up, whenever I passed a driveway party while trick or treating, I always oohed and aahed at the big cauldron on the potluck table that overflowed with fog from the dry ice in the punch. I knew you weren’t supposed to touch dry ice for very long, so I never knew how to use it at our house for Halloween.

Turns out, it’s really very simple. Use these Betty Crocker tips to help you handle dry ice safely and add that extra spooky element to your drinks and party. Add it to a cauldron as a decoration (you could even paint the outside of your cauldron with glow-in-the-dark paint to make it extra ghoulish), to your jack-o-lanterns, or to your cocktails as seen here.

Here are some of my favorite family friendly mocktail recipes for Halloween, so everyone can enjoy the delicious drinks and magic of dry ice!
