Crockpot Apple Butter

Ingredients:
- 6 large Apples
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves (optional)
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Cover and cook on high for one hour. Turn to low and cook all day
until thick and dark. May need to mash with a potato masher.
Put canning jars in boiling water for 15 minutes. Fill ½ pint jars being careful to not get any on the lip of jar.
