Mexican Hot Chocolate with Dates

Ingredients:
- 2 Cups of Milk or Dairy Free Beverage of Choice
- 6 Natural Delights Pitted Medjool Dates
- 1 Tbsp. Cacao Powder
- ¼ tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. of Chili Powder (we used Arbol Chili Powder)
- Whipped Cream and sprinkled cocoa powder and cinnamon stick or your favorite toppings!
Directions:
In a medium pot, add milk and dates and simmer until milk is hot and slightly bubbling.
Transfer milk and dates to high-speed blender and add, cacao powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and chili powder and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
Pour into mug and top with a cinnamon stick and your favorite toppings!
