Orange Nut Bread
  • 2 & 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 & 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 T. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 4 tsp. grated orange rind
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed for 30 seconds. Pour into well greased loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches. Bake 60 minutes at 350 degrees (until toothpick in center comes out clean). Cool before slicing.
