Sauteed Apples

Ingredients:
- 6 apples
- 2 Tbsp butter or bacon drippings
- 1/2 cup sugar
Directions:
Core and slice 6 apples thinly. Melt butter in skillet and place apples in and cover until apples begin to steam. Sprinkle apples with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/8 tsp. salt. Cook covered over low heat until nearly tender. Uncover and cook until very soft. Add a little water if too dry while cooking.
