I have complained at least a million times that there was nothing to do on a Friday night. One day I was turning from Ocotillo onto Ellsworth and the most beautiful thing stood before me: A long line of food trucks about 15-25 of them! They were located in the lot next to the Queen Creek Library. It was an amazing sight to see the whole community gathered to enjoy some fun foods with their family and friends.
So, naturally I had to go check out this awesome event that actually takes place year round, it’s called Food Truck Friday! Several food trucks come out and every Friday you can expect new and exciting options. The food trucks rotate through 120 trucks! You could go every Friday for a month and still be exploring a variety of new foods! With all different types of food, you can find something that the whole family will enjoy, while also spending some quality time together outside of the house!
Queen Creek isn’t the only place you can find these fun food trucks. Gilbert also takes part in the food truck festivals. Aside from Queen Creek and Gilbert, Phoenix also has fun with Food Truck Friday!
However, if you have events coming up whether it be a child’s birthday party or an office party the food trucks can come cater your event! Or if you simply can’t wait for Food Truck Friday, your favorite food trucks and be tracked with a schedule on their website of where the truck will be or when. Some trucks can be traced back to their physical restaurant.
If next Friday you are looking for a fun and family-friendly activity check out Food Truck Friday. There are a lot of must try food trucks that you won’t want to miss!
