Clover Tea Rolls

Ingredients:
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. vegetable shortening
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 T. lemon juice
Directions:
Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt into a large bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal. Combine milk and lemon juice; quickly stir into flour mixture to form a soft dough. Turn onto lightly floured board, knead slightly. Form into small balls about the size of marbles. Put 3 balls into each greased muffin cup. Bake in 450-degree oven 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 1 dozen rolls.
