15 Recipes Featuring what’s in Season in January

The New Year has rolled around and many of us might be working on our New Year’s resolutions. Most people want to get healthier, whether that is by exercising more, eating healthier, or cutting out sugar, among other things; but we all know how hard that can be.

Once we get a few weeks into the New Year we are back to having a soda before, during, and after work, going out with friends every weekend, and grabbing fast food on our way to and from our destinations.

I’m not going to lie, it can be hard to keep a healthy resolution, especially with life being so hectic. So, I’ll be the first one to confess right here. I’ve thrown my health resolutions out the window more than once. The key, I’ve found, to keeping a resolution related to health matters is not only having the willpower, but having something to look forward to. Yummy and healthy recipes might be part of the solution.

With yummy and healthy recipes, you won’t dread going home every night and eating overly dry chicken breasts and a side of microwaved veggies. To help you out a little bit, I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite recipes that will help you stick to your resolution, and that include ingredients that are in season (and abundant) in the month of January, enjoy!

This year, let’s keep our New Year’s resolutions! With the help of Fill Your Plate there will never be a shortage of healthy, tasty recipes that the whole family will love!
