    After farming in the Arizona desert for nearly half a century; maybe the heat got to us. The idea of raising shrimp in the desert came about by a series of experiments and accidents culminating in the discovery that shrimp raised here in Arizona may be the best tasting shrimp in the world.

    We have developed the shrimp farm to be both environmentally friendly and sustainable. The shrimp are free of hormones, antibiotics, preservatives, chemicals and mercury! Our gourmet shrimp are characterized by their clean, sweet taste and are so uncommonly flavorful, that many shrimp lovers prefer to serve them as "stand alones".

Remember, Arizona Shrimp Farming is seasonal: the ponds are dry in the winter with most of the shrimp farming activity taking place in the Summer.
