Brent’s Honey Bacon Green Bean Bundles
Provided by:
Brent Murphree, former cotton, wheat and alfalfa farmer; now with the Cotton Board
Ingredients:
- 1 Pound Fresh Green Beans, trimmed
- 8 strips Bacon, partially cooked
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Directions:
Cook the beans until crisp-tender. Wrap about 10 to 15 beans in each bacon strip; secure with a toothpick. Place on a foil-covered baking sheet. Drizzle honey and Olive Oil over bundles. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10-15 minutes or until bacon is done. Remove bundles to a serving bowl or platter; serve immediately.
