Turnips in Orange Sauce

Ingredients:
- 2 lbs young turnips
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 oranges, juice squeezed
- 3/4 tsp ground ginger
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 orange peeled and divided into segments
Directions:
Put turnips in a large pan and add water to cover. Add the salt and bring to a boil. Boil about 15 minutes. Drain and puree in a blender. Combine the orange juice, sugar, and ginger. Add liquid to turnips and beat. Transfer to a small greased oven dish and dot with butter. Cook for 10 minutes at 450 degrees or until lightly browned on top. Lay orange segments over before serving. makes 4 to 6 servings.
