Arizona is your Fruit and Veggie Capitol of the Nation in Winter!

Fruits and vegetables like lots of sun. In Arizona we have so much, we’re planting and harvesting 12 months out of the year! 90% of fruits and vegetables are grown and harvested in Yuma, Arizona and shipped all over the country from November through March of each year.

The U.S. supplies 25% of the world’s beef with 10% of the world’s cattle. Some of Arizona’s ranchers are 5th– and 6th-generation ranch families.

The purpose of the indentation at the bottom of the wine bottle is to strengthen the structure of the bottle. Arizona’s wine industry features 33 different wine grape varieties.

June is Dairy Month!

June is Dairy month! Arizona’s 188,000 dairy cows provide us with the freshest milk, cheese and yogurt. On average, a dairy cow will produce 7 gallons of milk each day. That’s a lot of milk! Remember too, 97% of your milk in the grocery store is coming from our local Arizona Dairies.
