Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients:
- 1 Pie Crust
- 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tbsp butter or margarine
- 6 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
- 1/4 lb swiss cheese, diced
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups light cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
Directions:
Saute onion in 1 T. butter or margarine until tender. Set aside.
Line prepared pie crust with crumbled bacon and diced cheese.
Combine eggs, cream, salt and spices with sautéed onion.
Pour into crust
Bake at 375 F. about 35 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve hot.
