January brings some of the coldest weather we will experience all year which makes it the perfect time to serve up a bowl or two of soup.  Go check your cupboards, odds are you will find at least one can of soup since most American kitchens have an average of 6.   Or skip the canned concoctions and warm up the dark winter evenings with hot, delicious homemade soup.  In honor of National Soup Month, make a commitment to filling your family’s bowls with savory soup as often as you can.
