Fresh Foods and Pesdicide Residues

USDA and EPA annually test fresh foods for pesticide residues. The most recent data of samples were well below safety limits on 99% of them. More than half had no detectable pesticide at all. So, eat Your safely-grown Yuma-farmed Veggies!

Food safety labels on leafy greens identify the growing region and the “Harvested after” date. This label helps you understand different regions of the country have different harvest seasons. Plus, during the winter, you’ll see “Yuma, Arizona” as the growing region, where my family farms.
